Learning about someone who has passed from the remembrances of others

Recently, I interviewed a number of folks about a woman who was a stalwart of civic life in East Greenwich.   This is the first time that I have profiled an individual who is no  longer with us.

 In 1967, a newcomer to East Greenwich became involved in a preschool in town that had been open for just over a year, serving about a dozen children during weekday mornings. Within two years, Barbara Tufts was running the preschool, and it soon began to grow.
